It features the Krawl-Tek Compound that enhances the grip on rock and slick surfaces, while the massive tread blocks are designed to deliver incredible grip from any angle of approach. The Mud-Phobic Bars help to release compacted mud and enhance traction in muddy and soft soil conditions, and Linear Flex Zone allows the tire to flex and envelop objects in aired-down situations. BF Goodrich Mud-Terrain T/A KM3 has an incredibly strong sidewall, thanks to the Coregard Max Technology that protects the critical sidewall failure zone with increased sidewall thickness. The design of the Traction-Armor notched shoulder design helps to boost traction capabilities in mud and protects the tire off-road by helping prevent hazards from tearing and cracking the sidewall.
