Federal Himalaya K1 LT is a winter/snow tire designed for light trucks and SUV vehicles. It offers an optional stud placement that provides even more advanced performance on snowy and icy roads. The tread pattern features wide wavy longitudinal grooves positioned closer to the shoulder tread blocks that assist with plowing through slush, snow, and water, which provides better traction and helps to reduce the risk of hydroplaning. Himalaya K1 LT’s lateral wavy sipes increase the traction by biting into the snow and offering a better grip on the snow and black ice.
