The General HT tire is a long haul trailer tire with a proven tread design and casing construction that delivers excellent removal mileage, retread rates, even wear and low rolling resistance. This new version features five circumferential ribs that are wider and more rigid. The tread rubber itself is formulated to balance wear and low rolling resistance. The casing provides a wide flat road contract foot print for the best traction and grip on free rolling trailer axles. The tread grooves are specially designed to kick out stones which leads to less damage to the casing for better retread-ability. Scuff bars on the upper sidewall of the tire also protect the casing from damage due to curbing or other side impacts.
