The Petlas Explero Ice W681 is a winter tire designed for winter’s extreme ice and snow covered road conditions. The circumferential center tread has hard angles that lead to the multi-angle outer treads to provide stability and traction during acceleration, cornering and braking. The wide grooves quickly move slush and water away from the center of the tire to prevent hydroplaning. The curved tread blocks need had angle to provide biting edges for further enhanced traction. The sipes across the tread blocks and on the outside shoulder give extra bite on ice and snow.
