Pirelli W270 Sottozero Serie II

The W270 SottoZero Serie II is Pirelli’s performance winter tire. This is a W-speed rated tire made for super sports performance vehicles. This tire is not just a snow tire but also a good choice for excellent grip and handling in cold, wet or even dry conditions in winter. This tire has dual tread compounds that have new polymers and mixing processes removing aromatic oils. This makes the product more ecologically friendly. In addition, the W270 Sottozero Serie II has a softer external compound that increases the grip in cold winter driving conditions. The strong internal compound improves the vehicles durability and stability even when driving on high speeds. 

This also features Pirelli’s Temperature Dynamic Compound technology that makes the tire fit for performance in wet and icy conditions. The lateral and longitudinal sipes with increased biting edges also improve the tire’s snow grip. This is through Pirelli's Interactive Brickwork Sipping, where the sipes form a brickwork design.

W270 SottoZero Serie II tires has the internal construction the same as P Zero’s, with the twin steel belts reinforced by spirally wrapped polyamide to augment thermal stability. This makes the tire more durable in varying road conditions and temperatures.
