Sumitomo ST948 SE is an extreme long haul drive position tire designed for commercial trucks, pick-up, and delivery trucks. This tire features a wide tread face that enhances the fleet's weight load and carrying capabilities, offers even weight distribution under heavy loads, and improves retreadability. Its wide tread blocks minimize tread squirm to lower rolling resistance and promote long and even tread wear. The longitudinal and lateral grooves promote better performance in wet weather by evacuating water and slush out of the tire's footprint and reduce the aquaplaning risk. The extra-deep tread and stone ejectors positioned in the grooves designed to resist stone drilling and puncturing. The micro sipes in the tread blocks offer excellent traction and gripping performance when it comes to dry and wet surfaces, as well as roads covered with light snow.
