The Yokohama iceGuard iG51V tire is a light truck and SUV tire for winter road conditions. Equipped with Yokohama’s advanced technology to provide a superior tread compound for handling varying winter conditions and designed for optimal performance, drivers get a dependable performance winter tire with the iG51V. The high-density reinforced compound offers a more stable tread block that provides better road contact and longer, even tread wear. The interlocking and adaptive 3D sipes work together to enhance road contact and provide a biting edge on icy surfaces. The zigzag circumferential grooves pack and expel snow making road contact exceptional in snowy conditions, while the variable angle center rib offers stability on dry road conditions.
The Yokohama Ice Guard IG51V tire has the mountain/snowflake symbol for severe snow service.
