Yokohama TY517 MC2 is a drive axle truck tire made for regional and long-haul applications. It fits commercial trucks, parcel delivery trucks, bulk trucks, day cab tractors, and sleeper tractors. This tire features 28/32’’ original tread depth that delivers long wear and provides road-grabbling power for the long haul. Its three circumferential grooves improve water and slush dispersion, provide lateral stability and reduce the hydroplaning risk. Solid outer shoulder contributes to flat and even wear on various types of two and three-axle trucks and tractors. The advanced tread compound technology reduces heat buildup, provides longer wear, and reduces rolling resistance, contributing to lower fuel consumption. The internal construction of the Yokohama TY517 MC2 tire features STEM-2 Technology that extends the life of the casing by reducing the strain on the bead and shoulder areas and minimizing flex in the casing.
