AmeriTread Trail Command HT Tires

The AmeriTread Trail Command HT is a highway-terrain all-season tire for SUVs, crossovers and light trucks on 16-inch to 20-inch wheels. It is for drivers who stay on pavement and want a comfortable, long-wearing tire at a value price.

The tread uses wide grooves to move water and slush out of the contact patch, which resists hydroplaning in heavy rain. The UTQG is 500 A A. The 500 treadwear grade points to a long-wearing compound, the first A is wet braking traction, and the second A is the best heat resistance grade. Speed ratings are H (130 mph) on most sizes and V (149 mph) on a few, and several sizes are XL (Extra Load) for heavier SUVs. It is backed by a 55,000-mile treadwear warranty.

For an SUV or truck that lives on pavement, a highway tire like this one rides quieter, rolls easier and wears longer than an all-terrain.

Best-suited for: Toyota RAV4, Honda CR-V, Toyota Highlander, Ford Explorer, Jeep Grand Cherokee, Chevrolet Tahoe, Ford F-150, Toyota Tacoma.
