The Roadtrack Terrena UHP is an ultra-high-performance all-season tire for sport sedans, coupes, hatchbacks and performance SUVs on 16-inch to 24-inch wheels. It is for drivers who want a sharp, stable W-rated tire for year-round use in mild climates at a value price.
The tread is asymmetric. The outer side handles cornering loads, and the inner side drains water to resist hydroplaning. Three straight circumferential ribs keep the tire stable and tracking straight at speed. The grooves are spaced to break up road noise. The compound is designed to resist abrasion and wear. Most sizes are W-rated (168 mph), with some V (149 mph) and Y (186 mph), and many are XL (Extra Load) for heavier performance cars and SUVs. Tread depth is 10/32 inch.
Its UTQG is 420 A A: traction A, earned in wet braking, and temperature A, the top grade. The grip-oriented compound puts the focus on steering response, and the groove layout adds braking traction in light snow.
