Its all-season compound features asymmetric, five-rib tread pattern, while ActiveGrip Technology ensures even pressure distribution in the footprint. Goodyear's ActiveBraking Technology uses an innovative tread block design to increase contact with the road during hard braking, resulting in enhanced handling and braking traction in dry and wet conditions. Eagle Exhilirate is enhanced with high-silica tread compound that improves wet traction, while wide lateral notches and four circumferential grooves effectively evacuate water from the tire's footprint in order to resist hydroplaning.
