Dunlop SP Sport Maxx GT 600

The Dunlop SP Sport Maxx GT 600 DSST CTT tire is an ultra-high performance summer run-flat tire with Dunlop Self-Supporting Technology (DSST) made for all-wheel drive Nissan GT-R super sports car. Combining motorcycle and car tire manufacturing and development technology, the Dunlop SP Sport Maxx GT600 DSST has the very highest levels of grip and handling. Extended mobility is an import feature as the GT-R does not have a spare tire.  In addition to the DSST run-flat technology, the tire boasts a high-traction, silica-reinforced tread compound shaped into an asymmetric tread design.  Its large outboard shoulder blocks and center ribs improve response to sudden brakes or speeding and gives stability while cornering. 

The 3 circumferential grooves are backed up by notched inboard secondary shoulder ribs giving resistance to hydroplaning. This tire has twin steel belts along with Dunlop’s Jointless Band (JLB) spirally wrapped kevlar belts which gives these tires high-speed consistancy of shape, and consistancy of driving quality.
