The Mastercraft Courser MSR tire is a winter tire for light trucks and SUVs which features a patented "snow-groove" technology that provides traction and block stiffness. Snow-grooves are interlocking so you get the extra biting edges for excellent snow and ice traction, but still allows the tread block to be stiff, and not squirm on the road surface under high torque acceleration, cornering or braking. "D-squared" sipe technology further enhances their winter performance, while maintaining excellent traction. A saw-tooth center circumferential rib and blocky tread elements on the shoulders of the tire enhance stability and promote even tread wear in all types of weather conditions. Mastercraft Courser MSR tires also feature a new stud pin hole design that improves stud retention, which is important if you make the investment in studding the tires for extra grip on ice and snow. The Mastercraft Courser MSR tire has the mountain/snowflake symbol for severe snow service.
