Continental VanContact Winter is M+S rated studless winter tire developed for vans, transporters, and mobile homes. This tire bears a three-peak mountain snowflake (3PMSF) symbol and fully meets all the industry severe snow service requirements. The tire offers an improved rolling resistance, thanks to the new silica compound that reduces the energy loss. The tread pattern ensures shorter braking distances by featuring better interlocking with the snow. The tread grooves and shoulder blocks enhance the compression of snow in the grooves, leading to an increased traction in the snowy weather. On the wet roads, Continental VanContact Winter tire ensures high aquaplaning safely by featuring wide circumferential grooves and the grooves between the shoulder blocks that effectively evacuate the water and slush away from the tire’s footprint. In addition, the 3D sipes provide higher support and lead to higher stability, which results in shortened braking distances on wet roads.
